In July 2018, Global Athletic leader, New Balance, launched the <TEST_RUN> program to challenge the product creation process and deliver new innovative products to consumers fast. <TEST_RUN>PRJ 2.0 was created in the New Balance Global Design Center by 23-year-old Adara Dillabough, a Design Foundry Apprentice, who was inspired by the performance running shoe Fresh Foam More that launches in April.
The limited edition <Test_Run>PRJ 2.0, designed by Adara, pays homage to the dedication that New Balance has put into creating a better and more performance-focused runner. Designed to provide the most cushioning New Balance has ever had, the Fresh Foam More midsole is soft yet supportive with a bigger, chunkier silhouette. Taking key elements of the Fresh Foam More, and tapping to inspiration from the Moon landing, Adara incorporates materials inspired by space, black holes, and space-time continuum with bright, bold color and a futuristic design that won the hearts of the New Balance product team. Coming in both a Women and Men's style, each iteration is strikingly vibrant, and a certain show-stopper.
