Following their Chuck Taylor collaboration last year, Vince Staples and Converse continues their budding partnership with a special edition of the sneaker brand’s classic Thunderbold Ox silhouette. Much different from their previous collection, their new iteration of the time-honored, One Star style boasts a DIY vibe, this time focusing much more on shapes and layers.
Featuring a White knit upper, the shoe is light and breathable, while unique, Black, outline stitching add a touch of modern and artistic contrast. The signature One Star Converse branding is then stitched on the lateral and media sides, while Staples’ own branding on the tongue and heel finish off the look. Truly one-of-a-kind, this new iteration of the Thunderbolt Ox is one of Converse’s most individual drops of the year.
