Converse’s basketball heritage may date back to the earliest days of the game, but it doesn’t stop with the Chuck Taylor. Earlier this year, Converse pulled a lesser-known silhouette, the Fastbreak from the days of athletic striped, knee-length socks, short-shorts, and first name basis icons like Magic and Larry.
This collaborative edition of the Fastbreak sees Hong Kong label CLOT shows just how versatile the Fastbreak really is, as the shoe is taken off the Boston/L.A. corridor and reimagined with a dose of outdoors inspiration.
The “Arctic Circle Expedition 80 Degrees North” Fastbreak features a rugged textile upper with leather lining and suede accents and bootlace hardware that compliments the classic Converse chevron logo. Available in two colorways, a subdued, retro grey and vintage white, and a bold, adventure ready royal blue and grape.
