The Air Force 1 Sage made its debut as part of Nike's '1 Reimagined' collection, which saw a women's design collective from Nike's myriad of specialty fields reinterpret the Air Force 1 and Jordan 1 around five different character archetypes.
The collection's Sage edition of the Air Force 1 took the uncluttered simplicity of the Air Force 1 to a minimalist extreme, with a pared down design that highlighted the shoe's distinctive midsole and seam lines.
A new take on the Sage design returns to a more familiar shape, as laces make a return to the shoe's upper, while a tonal, soft pink colorway, and an exaggerated stack height offer a fashion forward break from the ordinary.
