Alexander Wang once again turns his attention to the brand with the three stripes, as the new, Spring collection from the illustrious designer and Adidas originals makes its debut.
For Spring 2018, Alexander Wang takes the philosophical concept behind the flipped Adidas trefoil logo that distinguishes Alexander Wang’s bold reinterpretations of essential Adidas sportswear, and takes off with it.
Inspired by the errors that are part and parcel of any industrialized production process, the Spring ’18 collection incorporates flaws like uneven printing, wrinkled and creased fabrics, and pixelated graphics into the cutting edge modern athletic style of Adidas apparel. Like fingerprints and snowflakes, no two mistakes are ever exactly alike, giving each piece in the collection a unique imperfection
The second drop's accompanying footwear features the debut of the AW Reissue Run, an aggressively modern running silhouette with an experimental feel, featuring a mixed material upper, toggle lacing, and trefoil outsole. Alongside the Reissue Run is the AW Run Clean, a minimalist, sock-fit knit model featuring Boost cushioning.
