The Adidas x Oyster Holdings capsule is framed as a weekend getaway wardrobe, which is something that calls for flexible, adaptable, simplicity. The collection’s footwear silhouettes span the extreme ends of the Adidas timeline in just two pieces. A minimalist take on the classic German Army Trainer sees this old-school classic rendered in full grain white leather, with a retro style tongue, and tonal white sole. The ultra modern Twinstrike shares the minimalist palette of the Army Trainer, as the progressive design elements of the shoe are outfitted in minimalist white, but vivid, multicolored pods at the midsole offer an eye-catching but not overpowering contrast.
The collection’s apparel, centered around soccer referee inspired shirts featuring two front pockets, blends the stylistic versatility of basic sportswear staples with modern, technical elements, and a bright, multicolored three stripes motif.
