Something Kevlar plated, X-ray resistant, or scan proof would have been preferable, but in this situation, not taking the usual precautions was, in itself, a precaution. Looking like you actually knew what you were doing would only draw attention. Looking like a slightly overwhelmed tourist, unable to keep from gawking up at the high rise blocks and dancing neon…now that was something no one was going to notice for any more time than it took to laugh at. No one would ever think to guess what was in the bag that way.
