The Mariah was a Nike original, but the shoe's 1988 Air Mariah PR update is the model that springs immediately to mind when the Air Mariah is mentioned, with good reason too. The ultra lightweight nylon upper and full length Air midsole were the precursors to the minimalist running movement, and the sleek, vivid colorway cemented the Air Mariah as a must have shoe.
For 2017, the Air Mariah has been reimagined using the state of the art standard in lightweight running footwear, Flyknit. The Flyknit upper, Brio cables, and air zoom cushioning are new, but one thing hasn't changed at all. The Air Mariah is still a must have.
